Welcome to our parent resources page! Through Gradelink, parents can check each student’s grades, verify attendance, access official school forms, and much more. Thank you for staying connected.
Cafeteria
FCA has a full service cafeteria that serves breakfast and lunch daily, Mon – Fri. There are 4 microwaves in the lunchroom if your child would like to bring something from home that needs to be heated. Teachers will assist the younger students with the microwave. Students are able to order cheese sticks, French fries, a salad, and can purchase snacks and drinks. If you would like to set a spending limit on your student’s lunch account, send an email to the office with your request and the cafeteria will note it on your child’s account. Your child can inquire in the lunchroom anytime what their lunch balance is, or you can call the office, or send an email to ask about your child’s account balance.
Parents can put money on their child’s lunch account, or they can send money with their child to purchase meals when they want to order that day.
Lunch orders are taken during the 1st period class, along with attendance, and the lunch order form is brought to the cafeteria while the attendance form is brought to the office to update the student’s daily attendance. Lunches are served to students in individual take-out containers.
No lunch is served on early dismissal days as school dismisses at 11:30 am. Students who go to a daycare on early dismissal days can still order lunch in the morning, if they want to, and they will be served lunch in the cafeteria before they leave for daycare, or they can bring a lunch from home.
Breakfast and lunch prices are on the lunch menu.
Attendance
School begins at 8 am and the tardy bell rings at 8:05 am. 3 unexcused tardies = 1 absence. 5 consecutive unexcused absences without any notice from the parent can lead to the student being dropped from the roster. If your student is ill and has a doctor note, the administration will work with your student. If the absences are chronic, that can lead to unexcused absences and fines.
Fines are sent out to parents at the end of each semester for absences and tardies and will result in your GradeLink account to be locked until the fee have been paid in full. All student accounts must be current at the end of each semester and must be paid in full at the end of the year to be able to access student records.
