Faith Christian Academy

History

Construction in 1973

Dr.  John D. McDuff

Superintendent

Dream it.

FCA was established in August 1973 with 52 students and 2 teachers in Jeter Hall, which is the fellowship hall of Faith Assembly of God. The vision of John McDuff Sr. at the time was to provide Christian families with an opportunity to educate their children in an atmosphere that taught the Biblical world view.

Build it.

The school quickly outgrew its original location and the multi-purpose gymnasium was built on Burke Rd. When that was at capacity, the Chaddock building, Little Red Schoolhouse, and other portable buildings were erected to accommodate the increase in enrollment.

Grow it.

Through the years, FCA has been known for providing quality educational programs as well as its competitive athletic teams. FCA is accredited K-12 by the Association of Christian Students and Teachers (ACTS), recognized by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) is a member of the Texas Christian Athletics League (TCAL).

Today.

Our goal is to continue to provide a college prepatory academic opportunity for our students, and to mentor them with Chritian values and a Biblical world view.  We have strived to reach that goal for the last 50 years and will continue to strive for that goal every year as we navigate the changing times we live in.  Faith Christian Acdemy is proud to serve our familes, our community, and the surrounding area.  Our focus remains to

‘Affect Destiny for the Glory of God!”
